Reflection On Canada's Universal Healthcare System

My family and peers would likely describe me as someone who is very goal oriented. When I put my mind to something, I have the determination to work diligently and confirm that it is completed to the best of my ability. I am able to create a plan and follow through to make sure that it is finalized by the deadline. Additionally my classmates would say that I have a compassionate personality. It pains me to see oppression and hatred in our population and that is one of the reasons why I want to go into nursing. Everyone should have access to healthcare, no matter their background. I find that Canada’s universal healthcare system is a great step towards equality and I’d like to be part of it. Mental health is one of the divisions I’m most interested in. There was such a damaging stigma around mental illnesses that is thankfully starting to be left in the past. There have been numerous occurrences where a stroke would go wrong, or a clay piece would be fired incorrectly. Nonetheless, this allows me to employ the wisdom acquired and not repeat the mistake. It is a common skill I apply in school and in my everyday life. Instead of feeling agitated when I get a question incorrect, I will review the problem areas to prevent it from happening again.
Other than art, co-establishing the Hunger Awareness Club (HAC) at my school was one of the most influential decisions I've made. Being the head of public relations and art director, a large responsibility and commitment was placed on my shoulders. Food is a basic human necessity and I wanted to help those not as fortunate as we are. A large aspect of this club is raising awareness to these critical issues, and collect donations in order to aid those in famine.
A crucial lesson I attained was that time management is a vital skill for achievement. Occasionally two deadlines would take place on the same day, and the ability to effectively plan and organize is required. Additionally, there have been instances where designs do not go as intended. Being a co-leader of the club, it’s my responsibility to see that things run smoothly. The best solution that I’ve learned, is to think unconventionally and come up with a substitute. This has supported me a lot, and now rather than being alarmed, I consider the best solution to the
