The Pros And Cons Of Universal Healthcare
Universal Healthcare would be great for the U.S. and all the citizens but only if we were not in a big debt. There are some good and bad things to wanting Universal Healthcare. One bad thing is that Americans want but do not want to work to get it. Some Americans already say that taxes are too high, now if they do go through with this taxes go higher and all they call it is "government provided" healthcare.

One of the good things to getting Universal Healthcare would be saving many peoples lives. About 40% of people are uninsured by bringing this they would be able to go to the doctors and get the help they need. Right now many people do not go to the doctors or hospital because they are not insured and may not be able to afford to pay the medical bills. A study in 2009 by Harvard researches had said that the, "lack of healthcare insurances is associated with as many as 44,789 deaths per year." Also, another study is that countries with Universal Healthcare the people there live 2-3 years more, than countries that do not.

A con to the United States going through with Universal Healthcare is there would be a doctor shortage. There will be a longer wait for doctor visits. The Association of American Medical colleges think that there will be …show more content…
Right now health insurance is already a problem with debt. If they go Universal there would be an even bigger debt because taxes go up. Most people now have a problem paying for taxes, now if they go through with this people that are crying about not having insurance are not people that will have to be paying more for taxes mostly. The Obamacare has not helped at all instead all it did was use 340-700 billion in the federal budget and that is just in the first 10 years. Universal would just use even more money then Obamacare has and people will pay more taxes and the government will say that Healthcare is "government
