What was once considered unthinkable is now becoming acceptable, even encouraged. However, in direct contrast to what the general population believes, morality is constant; In Malachi 3:6, it states “[for] I am the Lord, and I change not.” If the Lord is the embodiment of morality, and he does not change, then, therefore, morality cannot change, regardless of what the loud voice of popular culture dictates.
As Americans drift further away from their original course, they separate themselves from the document that once inspired unity. The Constitution no longer protects; it restrains. Like the Pledge of Allegiance was a chore for my young classmates, the Constitution is viewed with the same negative connotation.
