In the fall of 2015 I had my first high school tryout. I practiced day in and day out just like any other year. The tryouts came and I was only a little nervous. That tryout was the best try out I have ever had. After it was over I was confident in how I had done, however there was a lot of seniors and they are all guaranteed a varsity spot. I wanted to make that one team more than ever now. Tryouts took place on a monday for me and I had an extraordinary time. I knew I had a good one, not as good as the previous year, but still pretty decent. After they were done we had to wait a week for the roster to come out. That was the most agonizing week of my life. I was unable to stop biting my nails, I was anxious and nervous. I just wanted to know so desperately. All I could think was what if the same thing as last year happens?
