Reflective Essay To The Virginia Junior Academy Of Science
As Earl Stevens once said, “Confidence never comes from having all the answers; it comes from being open to all the questions”. This quote is the basis of being an inquirer, but being an inquirer is not just about asking questions, it also has to do with finding the answers to your questions. I feel that my inquiring nature really shined through when I decided to submit my science essay to the Virginia Junior Academy of Science. Through the process of completing and submitting my paper, I had to use my inquisitive nature to find the answer all the questions I had throughout the procedure.

The research I gathered through my questions guided me during the course of my experiment. Questions like “Will this make a difference?” or “How does this work?” were the inquisitive questions that led me to the answers that I needed to be successful in my experiment. This trait enabled me to ask questions and strive for the answers, and finally when I got to the event the questions I had all came into effect. The reason behind this was when I presented my experiment the judges had questions that I had to answer, and thanks to my curious nature I was able to answer all the questions, and in the end it was those questions that made the judges enjoy my presentation.
My inquisitive personality shined through the most during my time conducting my experiment for the Virginia Junior Academy of Science. My inquisitive trait excelled when, deciding my topic, showing interest in a new subject, and asking questions that led me to the answers that made my project successful.
