The Characteristics I have for this job are speaking, active listening and, reading comprehension. While speaking to a patient you have to be able to explain to them why, how, and when and be able to answer any questions they have. You also have to be a good listener and listen to everything around you and especially to patients who are explaining what type of problems they are having and you’re responsible for writing everything down for the doctor. And you have to read charts and what the doctor writes down and know medical terms.
I would enjoy going to work everyday because for one connecting with patients and making a difference. And two I will be learning something new each day. And three my coworkers.
I will excel at being a registered nurse because it matches my interest in working with people and kids and I am already preparing for this career in high school.
