This article discusses how professors are teaching religion to students at Harvard University, Harvard Divinity School and Wellesley College are starting a free online class teaching world religions to anyone. The courses are being offered online through a learning platform called edX. The first course in the series starts on March 1st and is titled “Religious Literacy: Traditions and Scriptures”. This article talks about a 1- year old baby, Asha, who was with her family seeking asylum was discharged from an Australian hospital, ending the 10-day standoff between the medical staff and the government. Australia has stopped asylum seekers coming. They are sent to immigration camps on Nauru and on Papua New Guinea. This effects the world because the refugees from the Middle East are not being allowed to go to Australia and are being forced elsewhere. A possible solution is to allow refugees from the Middle East to enter Australia and seek help there. LOCAL

This article discusses that representatives with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society have been leaving bright red toilets in the front yard of Treasure Valley residents. The toilets are used to help donate money to “flush away cancer”. You can pay $20 to have the toilet moved to a yard of your choice or $30 to have it moved with “toilet insurance” to promise it won’t find its way back into your yard.
This effects the world because it is a good way to raise money for an organization that could use extra money.
The possible solution is that there could be enough money raised to eventually find a cure for Leukemia and eventually all
