b. Bean bag tossing
• -Cornhole, also known as bean bag toss, corn toss, baggo or bags, is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing corn hole bags at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. A bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Play continues until a team or player reaches the score of 21.
Procedure
• Bean bag tossing matches are broken down into innings or frames [1] of play. During each inning, every player throws four bags. A player may deliver the bag from either the left or right pitcher's box, but, in any one inning, all bags must be delivered from the same pitcher's box. It is possible that both players can throw from the same pitcher's box. Also, the player gets a three foot box to throw in. Each player must deliver the bag within twenty seconds. The time starts when the player steps onto the pitcher's box with the intention of pitching. The player who scored in the preceding inning pitches first in the next inning. If neither pitcher scores, the contestant or team who pitched last in the preceding inning pitches first in the next inning. Note: one foot cannot pass the back of the board while tossing the corn bag, otherwise the point does not count.
• Bean bag tossing can be played as either doubles or singles. In doubles play, four players split into two teams. One member from each team pitches from one

The last most common way to turn a double play in baseball is kinda tough on the first baseman. There's a runner on first when he receives the ground ball. Then, he turns and throws it to the shortstop, who is waiting to receive the ball. Once he has received the ball at second base, he throws the ball back to first base. By then, the first baseman has back peddled fast enough to the bag to receive the ball from the shortstop to make the second out of the ¨3-6-3.¨…

    The Game of Wiffleball

    • 347 Words

The WIFFLE ball was designed to take the place of baseball, stickball and softball for boys and girls in back yards and city streets. It is made of a tough rubbery plastic – is light in weight and cannot be thrown or hit any great distance. The WIFFLE ball is also an excellent indoor ball. The WIFFLE ball is thrown like a baseball and will curve very easily. The minimum number of players required to play a game with the WIFFLEball is two – the pitcher and batter – one player per side. The maximum number of players that can complete are ten – five players to a side. If a full team is playing, each side will consist of a catcher, pitcher, double area fielder, triple area fielder and home run area fielder. Fielders cannot move from one area to another when a full team is playing. When more than two players are playing, captains for each side are picked and they choose their respective teams alternately. As in baseball, the game is played with one team at bat and one team in the field. The batting order of the team at bat shall be Pitcher, Catcher, Double Area player, Triple Area player and finally Home Run area player. The rules of play are similar to baseball, however there is no base running. Three outs to retire a side, per inning, nine innings per game. In case of a tie, additional innings are played. For a complete inning, both sides must bat. An out for the batter can be made in three ways: 1.The batter can strike out only if he/she swings at a pitched ball and does not foul tip the third strike. Foul tips count as a strike for the first two strikes only. A foul tip caught in back of the batters box does not count as an out. 2. Fly balls caught in fair or foul territory. 3. Ground balls caught while the ball is in motion, in fair territory. Bunting is not allowed and the batter cannot obtain a base on…

Innings are played when one team tries to score a run and the other teams tries to get them out. The way the other teams get the players out before they get a run by simply tagging them with the ball in their glove or by passing the ball to the base the player is running to before the player gets to that base. The opposing teams needs to make three runs to be able to switch. Let’s say the Red Socks and the Cardinals are playing a game against each other. If the Red socks are up to bat and Cardinals win three outs then they switch off positions. That means that then the Cardinals are now up to bat and the Red Socks are trying to get the Cardinals out. Once both teams have batted once then that means one inning has gone…

The rules are quite similar to the rules used in the game of "Club Golf", including the matter of courtesy. It is only fair that your opponent’s turn to throw be without distraction, just as you would like it to be for yours. Do not throw your disc until you are sure its flight or landing, will not distract another player.…

Even though both sports appear different they are very similar in some instances in such ways that they both used balls that are spheres. There are four bases that have to be rounded to score a point, which is called a run. Baseball and softball fields are shaped like diamonds. There are positions for nine players on the field. These positions are comprised of the catcher and the pitcher, the shortstop (who plays between second and third), the first, second, and third base players, and then there are the right, left, and centerfield players. Actual games of baseball and softball are overseen by umpires who are there to make sure that all rules are followed. They also determine if a ball is a foul ball, or if it is a strike or a ball, or if the player is safe or out.…

Baseball and softball have the same rules about the pitches that are thrown. If a batter receives four balls, they automatically get first base. If a batter receives three strikes, the batter is out. A foul ball is counted as a strike. In softball and baseball, after someone hits the ball into fair territory they must drop the bat and run to first. In both sports, the defense must get three outs before switching to offense. In both softball and baseball, runners must advance on ground balls hit if a teammate occupies the base behind them, starting with first base. If a fly ball is hit and caught, a runner must return to their base until the ball is caught before advancing. If the caught ball is thrown to the original base first, the runner is…

They could not block or throw balls, but could run around the middle collecting as many balls as they wanted to return to their team. Everyone else had to stand on the line and protect their bowling pin and toss balls towards the other team’s side. Once all the pins were knocked down on one of the team’s side, that team’s ship was sunk and the game was over. Mr. Fowler, the Physical Education assistant, did most of the speaking on Wednesday and Mr. Dunn stood by me to talk about what all being a Physical Education teacher includes. Mr. Dunn also spoke up to the students if it was needed, but for the majority of the time Mr. Fowler told the students what to do and he really emphasized the rules of the game so no one would get hurt. One very important rule was that the children could not squat down to guard their pin, but could block by knocking the balls away. The reason for this rule was because if a pin was hit hard enough it could bounce up and hit a child in the face or a ball could accidentally be thrown at that child’s face. Mr. Fowler emphasized these rules four or five times and had the students repeat them back before the game began, then continually reminded the students of the rules as…
