Introduction
In order to select a home automation system for Oriental House, we would like to introduce a new home automation system. The aims of the report is to discuss the research conducted to select a possible home automation system, draw conclusions from it, and make recommendations on the way forward.
Methodology
The research results from Ir. Pierre stone and the email attachment were reviewed. Next, information on three areas, including advantages, reputation and basic functions were analyzed. Finally, a home automation system were shortlisted for comparison based on the four criteria which are mentioned above.
Findings
After the research, there are some the benefits of home automation systems. First thing first, it can increases awareness through security cameras, such that we can avoid the situation that we forgot to lock the door. Second, it allows you control when out of town, that mean you can control your house when you are outside. Of cause, the main benefit of home automation systems is to saves time, it can help you better manage your time, as you are busy, you can easy to do what you want to change at home.
Regarding to the basic functions of a home automation system, it is basic on wireless remote control. It is using radio wave signals to control home electronic devices and an infrared signals to alert users to intruders and call fire station or security room. Also, it provide door access controller including image recording system and digital door lock. Concerning the Evaluation, Samsonite SNT-8 is significantly more reasonable since it has slim 10” color TFT touch screen, it is much brightness and contrast. Besides, it is much user-friendly that the other home automation system, it can operate with iPad, iPhone and computer interface within Wi-Fi networks.
