When should a juvenile offender receive his or her life sentence? Infringement upon the law when someone has committed a crime should result in enduring chastisement because it is the responsibility of that person to do their own time. Juveniles should not have special treatment for their transgressions when they are young because it could lead to financial instability and regretful decisions in the imminent future. Overall, juveniles should receive their punishment immediately because of a crime they committed to expose them to the unfortunate consequences they have chosen for themselves. Disregarding the law should have an outcome of reprimand because it is the reason of why our neighboring towns and cities are safer because we stop juvenile
delinquents at the prime age they portray their rebellious stage in life. Young teenagers during their stages of maturity more than likely will experience and show signs of restraint and may lead to cases in which they are no longer respectable citizens. However, some adolescence will choose deficient decisions in their lifetime and it could result in a major learning experience for them and even their own family. In other situations, however, that is not the case. Some juveniles could take their bad decisions into account as their new way of living and it could ruin their lives in the future. Some of today’s young juvenile offenders have undergone various charges against their crime and have resulted in a major financial loss for their parents and guardians due to their irresponsible children. However, misdemeanors caused by young juveniles should not be taken lightly provided that some juveniles today have committed very heinous crimes resulting in tragic incidences and have caused pain for the victim’s family. Juveniles should understand the severity of their choices and how that could impact their reputation which influences their future career and later plans in life. Life sentences should not be an option to young juveniles that break the law, but it should be a choice of their own that they should be forced to make. In conclusion, juvenile offenders should be stopped early in their law breaking crimes to prevent bad choices later. Young or old, people should be punished regardless and serve their own time. Today’s juveniles should be responsible and decide for themselves if this is the life they have chosen to lead. Juvenile offenders can be stopped and in doing so we can ensure there will be safer and more responsible citizens for our future.
