COURSE DESCRIPTION
The proposal development course is set in such a manner that it can to be the basic source of information for MBA students at the Department of Management Sciences (GS) Bahria University, Islamabad Campus. It establishes the technical parameters which are expected to be followed by all students working for higher research degree (MBA). Every student needs to strictly abide by the recommended format while writing and presenting the thesis at MBA level. This course intends to provide a sound base for that.
Quality of research, its contribution in the area of research and the significance of that contribution play an immense role in the acceptance of the final thesis. The dissertation provides the foundation for understanding the domain and dimension of research.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
The basic objective of this course is to help you organize your research thesis in a logical manner and meeting all the set requirements. A step by step approach will be used in selection of a topic, formulating the research problem, reviewing the previous existing literature and designing the appropriate methodology. In addition to this, at the completion of this course you should be able to: * Develop research question(s). * Logically present the research methodology, the method of investigation and subsequent analysis. * Understand the structure/ organization of thesis. * Understand the citation and referencing requirements.
