Innovation and Service Differentiation of Apple Inc.

Scope The scope of this report is to execute service strategy of Apple in the United States its nature of services and the service strategy employed by successful services. Furthermore Apple Corporation is a publicly owned Fortune 100 company based in California. The company operates basically in the computer industry of the broad technology sector and it designs, creates, and sells mobile phones, portable digital media devices, software, and related peripherals and accessories and focus on its innovation and service differentiation.

Industry Analysis Apple Inc. which is previously named by Apple Computer Inc. is an American multinational corporation which creates consumer electronics, software, hardware and personal computers. In beginning of September 2011 the company operates over 400 retail stores in eleven countries around the world and open website which they can sell software and hardware as an online store. At the end of the September 2011, Apple is the largest publicly traded company in the world and the largest technology company by market capitalization in the world by revenue and profit. Apple corporation established on April 1st 1976 in Cupertino, California, and incorporated 3rd January 1977 and the company was previously named Apple Computer, Inc., for its first 30 years in the industry but removed the word "Computer" on 9th of January to reflect the company 's ongoing expansion into the new consumer electronics market in addition to its traditional focus on personal computers. At the end of September 2010, Apple had 46,600 employees and 2,800 temporary employees worldwide and had worldwide annual sales of $65.23 billion.
