LaGuardia community college have a number of employee handbooks, they are the instructional staff, adjunct staff, civil service staff, and college assistant. According to the handbooks, the process of hiring employees for the organization is through the college’s Affirmative Action Program of CUNY . The processes and methods for hiring are done through job posting on the CUNY website and CUNYfirst, this allows those with the corrected qualifications to apply for the positions available. The hiring process would include hiring, initial screening, interview process, pre-employment assessments, offer of employment, background check and first day of work (Jack Halloran,1985, p.120&121. According to the human resources department the training and developing process is based on the department’s needs and requirement.
