Nature seems to be the best inspiration for researchers at Harvard. They’re working on a robot forDARPA, specifically a soft, flexible robot that can blend into its surrounding environment.
-------------------------------------------------
It may not be as fast as a chameleon but the octopus-like robot can change from one color to the next within seconds, leaving it virtually invisible to the naked eye. Microfluid networks run

But that doesn’t mean we can’t discover new creatures in some of the more secluded areas of the world, and that’s exactly what has happened in the Pacific Northwest region of the US.

A new species of spider called Trogloraptor marchingtoni has been discovered living in caves in southwestern Oregon. Being the only species in the Trogloraptoridae family, Trogloraptor is unusual and unique in a couple of ways, most noticeably because it has a claw on the end of each leg. Researchers also discovered the spider has a very primitive respiratory system.

At up to 7.6cm long with legs outstretched, the Trogloraptor is about twice as large as the spider it resembles the most (brown recluse), but has been confirmed as a brand new species thought to have appeared around 130 million years

Some of these “products” are selling for just a few dollars, and some others are upwards of $20-30. To answer your next question: yes, people are actually buying this nonsense on eBay.

Let’s take a look at the “White Magic Wealth Spell %100 Success.” The seller says it’s totally going to work, but it might take 90 days or so. You might feel a little tingling at the time the spell is cast, but that’s normal for all magic. If things aren’t looking up for you monetarily after the spell is cast, no problem! The seller will re-cast for free. What a deal! Of course, no returns are accepted. It’s the same story for the “Black Magic Love Spell” and “White Magic Healing Spell,” which may also take 90 days to work. All of these spells have been purchased by living human beings with actual cash money.

The age and anatomy of Pappochelys has made it clear to Schoch and other researchers that it is a transitional creature, one that bridges the evolutionary gap between its lizard ancestors and its turtle descendants. These creatures are an important contribution to science in the study of evolution according to Schoch. They can reveal how specific features, such as the turtle's carapace, evolved over millions of years.…

In this day and age, new technology is everywhere, but it’s usually in the form of phones, computers, and, now, watches. However, we’re forgetting one, robots. Now, they’re still quite popular, but they’re mostly the ideals of science fiction worlds set so far into the future we’ve migrated to space. Is it really so farfetched of an idea, though, to think that maybe we could achieve that level? No, in fact and despite the spotlight being diverted away, we’re heading down the path to robo-world already. What a robot is and has been is quite a lenient description, but no one can deny how much they’ve already shaped our lives. According to the passage “Robots Long Ago” by Karen Brinkmann, “Today robots help people with everything from surgery…
