A reflective examination of the Mexican violence and economic affairs. It is 7:00 a.m. Get ready, it is almost time to go to work. As soon as you open your front door you encounter a large mysterious package. With caution and curiosity, you head out. You try to figure out who might have dropped it. Rapidly, you decide to take it inside. As you carry it you realize how heavy it is and you start feeling uneasy. After a moment, you decide to open the package just to find out that one of your relatives has been killed and what you are looking at is to their body chopped into pieces. Does that sound familiar? No? Well, that is what a large amount of families in Mexico face when the
violence arises, and there is no other option but for criminal organizations to cause fear and force people to work for their lucrative business. The current living situation of the Mexican people would have not existed today if it was not for the American high demand of narcotics and the balance trade of weapons from American gun companies that end up in the wrong hands. Corruption leads for a poorer performance of the Mexican government to facilitate assistance for vulnerable people. People are starving for equality where all the individuals in the nation can perform their activities at the best of their abilities. Lack of employment causes people to engage in the distribution of illegal substances, causing the narco-industry to control strategic points of the nation striking the local traditional economy, the illegal trade of guns and corruption ultimately contribute to the generation of violence and fear among citizens.
