When you are approached with an opportunity, you have a choice to take or leave it. That's the thing about opportunities, you never know what might come out of them, whether it benefits you or someone else. I believe that this is portrayed in the movie, Blind Side, where Michael Oher is advanced with an opportunity by the Tuohy family and it changes his whole life forever for the better. In the beginning, Michael Oher felt out of place, he had no home, was poor, and he had lost his family. As time passed, he was enrolled in school, his teachers either worried about him or doubted him because his grades weren’t the best, in addition to that, he didn’t talk or did his work. Soon, Michael met the Tuohy family who is made up of Leigh Anne, Sean, and their kids, Collins and SJ, out of all of them Leigh Anne gives him a chance to come stay with them.
They all support him to do what is best for him and in them doing that, he becomes a successful football player. This all shows that by taking an opportunity to be kind or great, you could end up creating an impact in someone's life. One reason, Michael became successful not only for his skills in football ,but also for his personality. Michael has a great personality, he is courageous, compassionate, as well as getting well with others. He always helps people who need it, even if they treated him poorly at first. In my opinion, one of the traits that stands out, is his trust. He had to trust Leigh Anne that she was trying to help him and not just doing it for the college that he would be attending. Not only is trust one of his traits ,but also the way he protects everyone in his life, in other words,he would do anything to protect the people he
