One example of why its maiden voyage was a disaster is that people in lifeboats wouldn’t help the people swimming because they were
afraid of overfilling the boat. People were refused the right to live. They would shove their hands off the boat and not even think about saving them. There should have been enough boats to carry all the passengers. Many more people could have been saved if they would have just taken precautions.
The sinking of the Titanic could have been avoided if they would have slowed down. If they would have listened to what the radio was saying they could have saved all those people. They should’ve listened to the warnings. We would never be learning about this and peoples families would have been saved all the hurt. If the captain was paying attention the iceberg would’ve been missed and no one would’ve gotten hurt.
Further going on about the titanic being a disaster, it shouldn’t be a story. The Titanic should be an amazing story to tell one’s grandchildren about. Instead, it was a gloomy and disastrous day. Some didn’t live to see the rest of the voyage let alone see their grandchildren again. Children died while on that ship too. They didn’t get to see how their life unfolded. Some babies hadn’t got to say their first word yet. The Titanic was a horrible event that should never be repeated.
In conclusion, no one on the Titanic should have lost their life. However, it did happen and there is nothing we can do to change it now.
