Research Paper On Vincent Van Gogh

Vincent van Gogh was born on March 30, 1853 in Zundert, Netherlands. He is the son of Theodorus Van Gogh, an extremely pious clergyman in the Dutch Reformed Community, and Anna Cornelia Carbentus. Van Gogh had five siblings named Theo, Wil, Cor, Elizabeth Duqesne, and Anna Cornelia. Theodorus and Anna's first child, who was supposed to be named Vincent van Gogh, was stillborn on March 30, 1852. Exactly one year later, the couple had another child, whom they also named Vincent. This Vincent went on to be one of the most influential characters in all of art history. Growing up, Theo was Vincent's best friend and favorite family member.
