Vlad often enjoyed torturing his victims and watching them die through many different forms of bodily harm. Vlad’s apparent favourite way to torture someone was what gave him his notorious name “Vlad The Impaler”. He would force the victim so sit up on top a sharp pole then slide down with their own weight over the course of a few days until death. It is estimated that Vlad did this to over 20,000 people across what is now common day Romania. He is the embodiment of evil and leaves a wake of terror wherever he chooses. In the seven years he was veveodate he killed, tortured, burned, boiled and impaled tens of thousands of people for any reason he deemed fit, whether someone was a thief or just poor. For Vlad it was not enough just to have someone executed. He wanted to strike fear in terror into every citizen of pre Romania and use that as a form of obedience. He claimed righteousness as malevolence and made his own people suffer from his thirst for revenge and then did not cease to stop until his death in 1476.
