1. Dr. King wanted people of all races to work and live together in peace

1. Dr. King had amazing confidence when it came to addressing people who thought he was beneath him.
2. Dr. King also addressed everyone as “we” and “our”, making everyone feel connected.

1. Dr. King wanted to make everyone aware of how ill-treated they were without being violent and causing problematic uprisings.
