Compact Fluorescent Lighting Benefits
Thesis Statement:
Although most consumers have switched the lighting in their homes to Compact Fluorescent Lighting, it is uncertain whether they have received any benefits by doing so.
Problem Statement:
Compact Fluorescent Lighting has now become a standard in most households however; information regarding the benefits this type of lighting has not been made readily available for consumers to review.
Purpose:
The purpose of this research is to determine what benefits consumers have received by switching from Incandescent lighting to Compact Fluorescent lighting in their homes.
Audience:
The audience for this research papers will be both male and females of all ages who have an interest in conserve energy, saving money and preserving the environment.

Over the last five years environmentalist, politicians, celebrities and other public figures have placed a greater focus on preserving the environment. This focus has motivated consumers to switch many aspects of their life from the recyclable products they purchase to what kind of car they drive. However, all these changes are not only motivated by the desire to preserve the environment but by the claim that these products are more efficient and will save the consumer money.
