Case Study
Jess prioritize is to have the budget done for the school council meeting on Friday. Because it is Wednesday and she hasn’t had a chance to work, she has to ask help from other colleagues. By this I mean , in the meantime she finish the budget plan , the colleagues will take telephone calls and counter enquires and requests from students, parents, teachers, tradesman, sales representatives for her.
Part 3- Effect of resources
1. In my own workplace the resources that effect my own work objectives are:
-Planning the day- Manager has to write on the whiteboard all the orders and all the tasks that need to be completed at the end of the day. If this not happen, the staff does not know what to do , so it will be a wasting of time. At the end of the day anything will be completed.
-Tasks has to do on time. By this I mean, I work in a cheese factory so everything is linked. For instance, if ai took long time to stretch the pasta ,then the other colleagues has to wait to start the orders. Consequently, the delivery will bring late the products and there will be the customers
