What is the course description?
Consumer Economics. (3) (Prerequisite: none). The economic problems of everyday life presented with a business framework, promoting the student’s well-being as a consumer.
What may I learn from this course?
At the completion of this course, students should be able to:
Explain changes in American consumers’ finances over the past decade
Distinguish differences in consumers spending patterns over the past decades
Apply retail and economic concepts to consumers spending patterns

What is the format for the course?
This is a 16-week distributive learning course that is delivered through on-line (web-based) instruction.
Students are responsible for viewing/completing all course Power-Point presentations and readings as assigned on a weekly basis and for actively engaging in course activities.
Mrs. Willis does not consistently check email on Saturdays or Sundays
