Also chamberlain accustomed other rhetorical techniques to grab the attention of the audience as alliteration in a sentence in his saying “the Army and the Air Force are in the fortunate position of having almost many men as they can conveniently handle at this moment” and in the phrase “in that there is today…” and finally the use of hyperbole in the sentence “That appeal has been anticipated by many months”
Last but not least, the speech announced by Neville Chamberlain led Britain and British people into the Second World War.
