Richard Chase In Serial Killer History

Since the 1900s, Sacramento,(Capital for California), has been popularity well known for its famous serial killers; One of various which remarked the most, Richard Chase,also known as the vampire of sacramento. With 30 years old of age ,Chase changed serial killer history by just being one of the most youngest and outstanding criminals who showed abnormal characteristics and behaviours.
Just like many of serial killers, chase had the same type of background childhood as mostly of them. Its remarked that chase was raised in a strict household, in where symptoms of emotional abuse and physical abuse were shown. Due to his abuse, his personal perspectives started to change in way that were abnormals to others;some of those changes were the beginning of the
murder of certain type of animals, and the drinking of real blood for pleasure,and delight. Those signs were the start of the abnormality of his behavior which led to the prescription of him as a Schizophrenic person. Like as I mentioned, during richard's childhood and adolescence, he committed minor murders which were the assassination of animals.
Over the time, his conduct started to progress in a negative way, which led to major crimes. One of his first murders was in December 29,199. The victim's name was Ambrose Griffins. Griffins was a 51 years old, father of two. Its remarked that the location of the murder was at Griffin's house, which he was murdered with a 22 caliber handgun.`Griffins was not the only victim of Chases Murders. 3 days later, another victim was located. The corpse of the body was identified as Teresa Wallin; By her autopsy, it was concluded that she was shot 3 times, twice on her head, and once on her body; After Richards shot her, he took advantage of her and abused her in a sexual way. When he finished with her, he grabbed a knife and slip her open, removing all of her organs. Its evident as while he was slipping her body, he used a bucket in where he placed Teresa's blood, which then used it to bathe with it. Before he left Wallins house, he stuffed her mouth with dog feces. After that crime, it's said that chase bought two puppies which he murder and drank its blood as a pleasure, leaving the corpse on his neighbor's front lawn. On january 4, another massacre occurred. This time, there was four victims affected, their
names were a 38 year old, Evelyn Miroth, Dan Meredith, her son Jason and 22 months nephew David. The firsts victim were Dan Meredith, Jason and David. It's said that Meredith's was was shot into the head which led to her to a instantly death. Chase then shot both infants. It all happen in seconds. Chase walked to the bathtub were Miroth was and the second murder happen. Chase shot him in the head just like he did with his other crimes and drags his corpse and leaves it on the bedroom where he rapes him. When he is concluded, he stabs him several times and place his blood on a bucket and heads back to where the 22 months david was left. He splits david's head and starts devouring his brains. As while he was eating david's brain chase hears a knock on the door and gets anxious which makes him to leave the building and to leave a handprint of his bloody hands. When he gets home, he eats david's brains and put in into a smoothie and then drops the corpse in front of a church. The next day, police found the corpse of the 22 months old infant.They question people all around the town and are captivated by the story of Mrs. Holden, a woman who went to highschool with chase. She confessed to the cops that she had an encounter with the serial killer. She noticed that chase had a different behavior and odor than before. Another evidence that was found was the registration of the 22 handgun caliber. By the registration of the handgun, cops were able to track him down. Chase was arrested and an investigation of his house started. Its really remarked that his habitation smelled like rotten flesh and also that there was various print and signs of blood. They checked his fridge and when they open it, they found part of the victim's parts and some materials he used to eat the flesh with. In 1979, the trail begin, Chase admitted that he only murdered those who left their doors open, he said that leaving the door open was an invitation for him to enter. By that remark and evidence, chase was found guilty with 6 committed murders. He was sentenced with a death penalty. On December 26th 1860, The Vampire of Sacramento was found dead in his cell. An autopsy was made and it was concluded that he committed suicide by overdosing which lead him to end his life. Overall, Chase was a really unique serial killer who drank blood for pleasure and for his believes. He committed 6 murders in total and ended up being well known by the media in that era. In my opinion, I believe that if one of chase relatives noticed of his behavior and went to ask for help with an expert, he will never had committed those crimes and he would had lived longer. He wouldn't had ended those individuals lives who he murdered.
