The last serial killer who has experienced sexual abuse as a child is Tiago Henrique Gomes da Rocha. He was involved in violent disputes with his parents, but his mother was the one who had been the most abusive to him through the following instances. Ridgway had a habit of bedwetting since he was young up to his adolescence, and throughout that time his mother would belittle and humiliate him in front of many people (The Bridgeway to Ridgway, n.d.). Ultimately, what is at stake here is that Ridgway received psychological abuse at a very young age for something he did not have control over. Again, as mentioned before, serial killers commit murder because it is something they can actually control for once. This leads to Ridgway escaping for what he had experienced in the past. Additionally, it is said that these serial killers as children come from severely flawed families where mothers may be controlling and rejecting (Knight, 2006).
