Edgar may or may not have turned out as a respectable man if it hadn’t been for his Pooka Ari. Pooka are mythical creatures not everyone can see. Edgars Pooka, a very large rabbit, was on a mission to make sure he was honest, no matter what. One afternoon at lunch Drew, Steve and Heather had devised a plan to use “memory pegs” to pass the AP history exam. Edgar challenged them, after a foot to the ribs from Ari, stating if it was not cheating they should inquire with the teacher if it would be ok. His friends were not impressed with him. He was out. He spent all weekend studying, only to receive a B, and drive a wedge between he and his friends whom had received A’s on their tests. Edgar, Drew, Steve, and Heather manage to work out their differences and remain friends in college. Edgar continues the straight and narrow path, thanks to Ari, however, Drew, Steve and Heather continue with their cheating ways, which seem to work out very well for them as after graduation they all land excellent jobs, meanwhile Edgar works in the toll

Min’s best friends Bonnie and Liza were also at the bar the night that David and Min split. Bonnie is the cute, petite, blonde haired, optimistic friend who believes in real life fairytales and love at first sight, while Liza on the other hand is a taller, voluptuous, red head, that is more of a cynical realist when it comes to love, relationships, and pretty much everything else. While at the bar Liza catches Min eyeing up a group of three men and encourages her to go talk to them and bring them over to the bar area where the ladies are sitting. On the walk over to go talk to the men, Min over hears the man who caught her eye, better known as Calvin Morisse, often referred to as Cal, making a bet that he could get her into bed in a month. What Min found out was that he was making the bet with David, and the bet was worth ten thousand dollars. Not to Min’s knowledge, Cal does not believe he made the bet but makes a counter offer that he could get Min to leave the bar with him and go to dinner. This bet was worth ten dollars. In the story, Philip blames his Language Arts teacher for not teaching well and being uptight. He claims that she is the only reason that he does not have a passing grade in that class and therefore the reason that he cannot be on the track team. My opinion is that Philip does not even consider the possibility that he may be part of the problem. I think that if only Philip would try a little harder in Miss Narwin's Language Art's class, he would be able to pass.
