Rikki Carvi Theme Essay
The theme is defined as a main idea or an underlying meaning of a literary work that may be stated directly or indirectly. In the first part of the novel “Rikki-Tikki-Tavi” by Rudyard Kipling, the primary topic is courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear. The alternate topic is love triumphs over all. The primary reason for courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear is due to Rikki wasn’t scared for a long time when he saw Nag. The alternate reason for love triumphs over all is due to Rikki killed the snakes that tried to put the family to death and killed the eggs as well. In the exposition, we did learn that it’s is difficult for a snake to scare a mongoose. Let's see which theme is right. It’s clear that the …show more content…
Nagaina is the perfect example since she is the antagonist. She went to get rid of the family when Rikki went to destroy her eggs. She was about to wipe out Teddy when Rikki distracted her and she never got the chance to finish off the boy. She was about to stop Rikki when she thought of a plan to go into her hole, and Rikki followed. When she and Rikki went in the hole Rikki survived, but Nagaina didn’t. It was very difficult for Nagaina to kill Rikki. When the house was quiet, she told Nag to go inside and kill “the big man” first. Which means Nagaina wanted Nag to do her dirty work.
Rudyard Kipling wants us to understand that courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear. To start it off natural curiosity can help control fear. It is okay to be afraid as long as you can overcome it. When you carry out something, it means to try your best and forget the rest. My conclusion is that being curious, becoming fearless, and trying your best can make the world a better

On the surface, The Great Gatsby is a story of the thwarted love between a man and a woman. The main theme of the novel, however, encompasses a much larger, less romantic scope. Though all of its action takes place over a mere few months during the summer of 1922 and is set in a circumscribed geographical area in the vicinity of Long Island, New York, The Great Gatsby is a highly symbolic meditation on 1920s America as a whole, in particular the disintegration of the American dream in an era of unprecedented prosperity and material excess.…
