In this kind of under pressure, If I were in Don’s position, honestly I think I won’t be able to make identical decision as Don generate. However, I would make a comparable decision as Don did. If I had a diabetic, I would follow the instructions as doctor gave for medicine serving size and timing and regular checkup for processes as Don did. At the same time if my doctor said that my food infection was spreading, and my choices were amputating the foot or amputate to the knee or even higher then I would choices as Don did amputate the food, but I would regret not to go scrutinize in hospitals to get a medicine for prevent infection. However, at that moment I think I won’t be able to realized and acknowledged that myself good doctor is not enough and I have to learn how to treatment myself and interact with the physician assistant, nurse practitioner who are experts. What I wound do is that try to follow what ever the doctor and their expert assistants tell to do such as how to consume medicines and where to go regular checkup my progressing because I trust them. However, I won’t totally reline on them, I will do as Don did by taking small steps works closely with my doctors and their assistants because that way I will learn from them my health conditions better, and I know that I am not the only patient for them, thus I believe that they won’t deeply force only my health. Which requires myself to include in how to treatment my sickness and I have to be expert on what and how my treatment is helpful for my wellbeing.
