Rob Hall. Rob I believe had a conflict of person vs self because in his heart he didn't want to leave his customer up on the mountain he wanted to go down together, When Rob could have gotten himself down absolutely fine. Rob had the courage that no one else would have and that's is that he would leave no man behind, even though his teammates down bellow wanted him to come down that once he was alone he was to frozen and exhausted to move that's also why I think his conflict was person vs nature. Because the storm was too bad for his teammates to go up and get him but also that the storm and carrying his teammate exhausted him. In my case I'd probably go down the mountain but I would feel the guilt that I might have been able to save someone but I just left them instead. And I would have to live with that feeling for the rest of my life, which would put stress on my following days. …show more content…
Maybe because he didn't want his fellow climbers to think he was having to retire or because he didn't want to let his customers down, so maybe after all his conflict wasn't just person vs nature maybe is was person vs self as
