According to both Greenleaf and Christianity, a leader should be able to serve others, love and treat them as the way they wanted to be loved and treated. As per Matthew 20:20-28, Jesus explained to the mother of Zebedee’s sons that, it is through serving, one will become great and attain the position to lead. The servant leaders should enable their followers to identify their strengths (Greenleaf, Senge, Covey & Spears, 2002).
