Rodeo is not cruel because they don't get hurt unless it's there own fault for example they jump around then land on there leg badly or land on there neck. If city people think it's cruel because the horses or bulls get cut from the riders boot the rodeo managers can take the sharp things off their boots so they don't cut the animals again. If they took the rodeo away a lot of people would complain because it's been around for a long time. If someone hurts a calf they get a fine of $500 so they do get punished or fined if they hurt a animal. …show more content…
Their life would be a lot more exciting if they had to jump around trying to buck a human off there back so the bulls or horses probably find the rodeo as a big game or something If a rider has a sharp thing on the back of there boot it could be good for the horse or bull because the rider could be relieving an itch that the animal had for a while.
Rodeo animals have a long happy life and most of the animals enjoy the attention and the calf's run around happily after they've got thrown around by the neck. None of the animals die at rodeos unless they have something wrong with them or they caused themselves. When i've gone to a rodeo no animals were injured or any where near getting injured so its not cruel to the animals at all. Most of the cattle would probably go to the butcher a couple of days after the rodeo so it wouldn't make much of a difference if they died or
