I looked up the words "You know not what you do" and I figured out why I knew that sentence from somewhere. In Luke 23:24 in the Bible, Jesus says "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing" (Luke 23:24). These two quotes sound dangerously familiar, and I do believe that Benvolio is a Jesus figure in the story, because Jesus and Benvolio are also both peacemakers, and wish the opposite of
