Tragic Flaw Many people want a good story with a happy ending, but in some love stories, fate doesn't allow the characters to end up together based on their impulsiveness. This idea is called a tragic flaw and it happens when the characters are blinded by their emotions, which causes them to make extreme decisions. Alternatively, in Romeo and Juliet, Romeo makes uncalculated decisions driven by his emotions, similar to Daniel. When Tybalt kills Mercutio, Romeo gets enraged and furious. Romeo threatens, “That late thou gavest me; for Mercutio’s soul is but a little ay above our heads. Staying for thine to keep him company.
