Romeo And Juliet Who Was To Blame Essay
Have you ever thought you have fallen in love at a young age? Well if you have read the book Romeo and Juliet, you would know how corrupt their minds went over with love. Romeo and Juliet were the most devoted people to themselves by killing themselves just for love. This was all of their own faults which is why many people knew this was going to happen in Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. This is why I think Romeo and Juliet were to blame for this tragedy that happened to them.

My first reason of why I think Romeo and Juliet were to blame for their own deaths is due to the fact of Romeo accepting fate. The article “Critical Essay on Romeo & Juliet” says, “ It can be said that part of Romeo’s character flaw is that he believes in the fates and therefore feels powerless to help himself” (Lois Kershen). This states that Romeo was willing to already accept what he thought was Juliet’s death and kill himself over it to join her in the afterlife. This was all of Romeo’s doing which was why Romeo and Juliet was to blame for their own deaths. This is why I think Romeo and Juliet were to blame for this tragedy that happen to them.

The article “Teenage Brains” says, “The slow and uneven developmental arc revealed by these imaging studies offers an alluringly pithy explanation for why teens may do stupid things like drive at 113 miles an hour” (David Dobbs). This quote explains that Teenagers will do anything that is in their minds. Which is why Romeo and Juliet killed themselves. They wanted to be together and that was their solution to it. This is why I think that Romeo and Juliet were to blame for this tragedy that happen to

Ultimately, I think Romeo and Juliet are to blame for their deaths. Yes, the long-lasting family feud could be blamed. Yes, Friar Laurence could be blamed for planning something of such high risk. Yes, Lord Capulet could be blamed for arranging Paris and Juliet to be married. Under all these circumstances, though, Romeo and Juliet could have made different decisions that wouldn’t have led to death. For instance, they could have chosen to take their time getting married, instead of rushing into it. Friar Laurence foreshadowed this point in act two, scene six. “These violent delights have violent endings...Too swift arrives as tardy as too slow.” Also, if Romeo hadn’t let his anger get the best of him after Mercutio died, he wouldn’t have been…

Many blame Romeo and Juliet for the choices that they make. However can you blame someone for trying to find a way out when forced into a corner? The choices and actions of other characters in Romeo and Juliet forced Romeo and Juliet into the positions they are in. Into positions where they feel there is nowhere to go but up to heaven in death. The two perpetrators most responsible for this are Friar Laurence and Lord Capulet. If they could not be so irresponsible and unreasonable in their choices and actions, Romeo and Juliet would still be alive and their relationship…

Shakespeare once wrote in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet “The dashing rocks thy seasick weary bark!/Here’s to my love! [drinks] O true apothecary!/Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die” (V.III. 118-120). Directly after saying this, Romeo takes a poison and dies in hopes that he will spend the rest of eternity with the one he loves--Juliet. Both Romeo and Juliet commit suicide because Romeo thinks Juliet had died so he takes his life for her, then when Juliet wakes up she takes her own life because Romeo has died. How our two star-crossed lovers died was never in question, but who is most to blame for their deaths, is. Many say that there are other people in the play that are to blame for their deaths. Juliet faked her death using a plan given to her, that is why it is Friar Laurence’s fault that Romeo and Juliet both killed themselves, and he is the one to blame.…

Although it seems unfair to blame the victim, I blame Romeo for his part in his own and Juliet’s death. To start of, he goes to the Capulet party with a bunch of his friends, even though it’s very clear to Romeo that he is not wanted there. When Romeo first hears of this party, the servingman actually says “and, if you be not of the house of Montagues, I pray…

I believe that Romeo and Juliets decisions determined their deaths. There were so many things that could have been avoided to not have their love end in the way it ended. One of the ways they could have avoided it was by making better decisions throughout their marriage. One other way that they could have avoided killing themselves is by communicating with Friar Lawrence and with each other. The last way they could have avoided killing themselves was just Romeo not making bad decisions.…

For the second argument “Wouldn’t it be someone else's fault?” I do not agree with this question. I feel that the character that is to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death is Tybalt. Tybalt caused the first domino to fall. Other people may have done questionable things but the Prince should blame the guy that started it. If two people were in a fight who would get blamed, the guy that started the fight and threw the first punch, or the guy with a black eye just because he threw the second punch to defend…

Romeo and Juliet is a tragic story of two young lovers doomed from the beginning. In this tragic tale, the parents of the two teenagers are usually assumed to be the most at fault for what occurred within those few days. Many people believe that the kids were innocent victims in the whole situation, and none of those events would have occurred if the parents wouldn’t have been so idiotic and made such hasty decisions. These people most often can agree that the leaders of the Montague and Capulet families are the only ones left to punish in this situation. After all, they were the ones who put everyone in this situation. The parents do deserve a lot of blame, but they are not the only ones who deserve it, and the kids were not mere innocent…

In my opinion I think that there is a lot of people to blem for Romeo and Juliet's death. One of the people that we should blem for Romeo and juliet’s death is themselves. Romeo and juliet didn't think of themselves or their beautiful future and even their families. When Romeo killed himself just for one minute he should have think of his mother, father or his family, his friend, his life without Juliet. When Juliet killed herself what she should have done in my opinion is to take one minute think of her mother even if she is not nice to her or she should have thing of the nurse or not all of these but of her future. Romeo and juliet and teenage and they are very emotional. In my opinion I think we would’d only blem Romeo and Juliet themselves because there are some people that make them make that decision. Like their families and or Friar Lorens.…

In this website, the author writes that both Romeo and Juliet are responsible, because Romeo, when Balthazar found him, told him that Juliet had died, when in truth she drank a potion. He was grief-stricken and died for her as she would have for him. The author said, “Evidence shows Juliet's willing to sacrifice her own family, in which she faked her death to escape Paris and chose Romeo's side over her own cousin, making her the most suspected. The greatest evidence was proven by Juliet's desperation to sacrifice Romeo's life for their love.” Meaning, Juliet thought she would have done anything and everything to be with Romeo, even if it meant dying in the process.…
