Romeo And Paris Similarities
Romeo and Paris the two men in the story of Romeo and Juliet who both very much love Juliet, Romeo and Paris both have many similarities and differences. They are both fighting against each other for the same thing the love for Juliet. They go through an unforceful journey to fight for their future love. They go through many ups and downs including marriage while on their journey. While on their adventure they also had to deal with each other which caused many of fights that also included revenge
One of the biggest similarities between Romeo and Paris would be that they are both in love with Juliet. In the beginning of the story Capulet promised Paris he could marry Juliet we know this because Capulet stated “And too soon marr’d are those
so early made. The earth hath swallowed all my hopes she,-- She is the hopeful lady of my earth: But woo her, gentle Paris, get her heart, My will to her consent and fair according to voice.” Paris then took this upon himself and was overly confident about marrying her. Which made him seem quite stuck up. While on the other hand Romeo talks about how much he loves her. I know this because he stated “She hath, and in that sparing makes huge waste; for beauty, starv’d with her, severity, Cuts beauty off from posterity. She is too fair, to wise; wisely to fair, To merit bliss by making me despair: She hath forsworn to love; and in that vow Do I live dead that live to tell it now.” Another difference would have to be that Romeo would get himself killed in the process of achieving the love and winning Juliet over while Paris would not. Paris would not be up for that and would most likely think that is a foolish decision. Another difference would have to be that Romeo is younger than Paris.

I still can’t believe two people so different from each other can have major similarities like loving the same person. It was absolutely crazy what they were doing to simply get their true love. This story really teaches a life lesson about working hard for what you really want.
