Considering Rose was on the 9th floor she rushed to the 10th to the executive offices where she took a smoldering staircase to the roof. Rose Freedman died February 15, 2001 in Los Angeles at 107. Overall Rose was a real trooper. She made it through one of the most tragic events in history, killing 146 people.
