* Copy xp_ndo.dll and xp_ndo_x64.dll extension files from the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 6.02 setup cd [SQLDatabase\PFiles\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\Database] in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.MSSQKSERVER\MSSQL\Binn folder.
SQL SERVER 2008 R2 In Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, perform the following steps:- * Extend Databases->System Databases->master->Programmability->Extended Stored Procedures. * Right click on Extended Stored Procedures; Click on New Extended Stored Procedures. * Creating xp_ndo_enumusersids and xp_ndo_enumusergroups * In the General section:- * Name type xp_ndo_enumusersids * DLL select the path for the xp_ndo_64.dll. * In the Permissions Section:- * Click on Search and choose public. * Grant Execute for public. * Perform the same above steps for xp_ndo_enumusergroups. * To create a user login with Windows Authentication * Extend Security -> Logins * Right Click on Logins and click New Login * General Section:- * Enter Domain name/User (E.g. PHOENIXGROUP\dcdmpro) * Select Windows Authentication. * User Mapping Section:- * Check on Master and the database which will be used then assign the database role membership for each database.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 Classic with Microsoft SQL Server * Open the database with any login. * Go to Tools -> Security -> Windows Login -> Click on the lookup and select the ID created in the SQL Server Management Studio. * Assign Roles Super to the ID and the Synchronize the login.
To be able to run pages, Role Tailored Client and Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server should be installed.
