On a more serious note, I’d like to say a few, quick “thank yous” to the people who supported me throughout my life. Above all, I would like to thank God. Next, I would like to thank my family for their continuing love. I’d like to thank my friends and classmates for allowing these last four years to be some of the best of my life. Furthermore, I’d like to thank our astounding staff here at BCIT for giving us a positive environment to develop into the people we have become today. Also, I would like to give a special, personal thank you to sidewalks for keeping me off the streets.
These last four years have passed by so quickly. As freshmen, we walked in nervous, uncertain of what was ahead. Look at us now, the graduating Class of 2013 at BCIT is a crowd of bright-eyed, tenacious individuals. I mean look at us, wearing our robes. Usually, when I’m in a robe it means I’ve given up, but we’re far from that. We are moving onward courageously whether it is into the military, the work force, or into a university. As we move forward our paths will come at crossroads and diverge. We will experience great triumphs and difficulties, and we will grow from them. Do not think of this as the end, because it is only the beginning of a wondrous journey. So leave your mark wherever you go, even if it is the path less
