The budget for the film was $220,000,000 and managed to get 1.5 billion box offices. In the essay I will be analysing the scene where Black Widow Interrogates Loki in the Prison. I will be looking at two of the micro features, Mise en Scene and Cinematography. Mise en Scene, includes three aspects, setting, performance and movement, and costumes and props. The second micro feature, cinematography includes, camerawork, colours, and lighting.…

The movie Stand By Me is based upon a novel by Steven King. It doesn't have the same eerie feel as some of his other books and is generally a more serious movie. It takes place in the small town of Castle Rock, Oregon. It is the middle of the summer in approximately the early 1960's. The kids are bored and that is the setup for their adventure to go find a dead body in the woods.…
This movie was chosen because it was viewed as a proper representation of the power of influence. It shows how large of a role influence can play specifically during times of adversity. This movie also shows one’s strive to fit in and how the opinion of others can determine how one lives their life. As displayed in the movie, many often lose themselves when striving to fit in and/or be perfect. For some reason, Skeeter decided to shy away from the domestic aspect of her advice column and direct her focus to “the help” themselves. She was curious to know why a difference in skin…
Presented in the book entitled Catcher in the Rye, Holden Caulfield rebels against what life has to offer. Symbolized throughout the book, Holden shows his many dislikes towards the normal actions of a human being. The normal things that take place in society seem to irate Holden. Stated in chapter two, Holden says “People always think something’s all true.” Holden is explaining his frustration of the lack of education towards things people say and do. Holden tends to see the bigger picture, and the smaller details. Also stated in chapter two of Catcher in the Rye, Holden states “People never notice anything.” This also shows Holden’s great attention to detail. Holden notices the little things; he notices the little girl, later on in the book, that is having…
Ant-Man(2015), one of the several Marvel’s films, is both full of suspense and humor through out, which is what I really enjoyed. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is currently the twelfth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)(Marvel). The film was directed by Peyton Reed, with a screenplay by Edgar Wright & Joe Cornish and Adam McKay & Paul Rudd, which was based on the original Ant-Man (1962) by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, and Jack Kirby(Marvel). With the premiere of the superhero movie several main comic book characters are reviled and stars:…
The Director of the movie Marvel’s “The Avengers” is Joss Whedon in which has been involved in other television shows such as” Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Firefly”. As the director, Joss Whedon was the driving creative force in this film’s production, and acts as the crucial link between the production, technical, and creative teams. Joss Whedon is responsible for creatively translating the film’s written script into actual images and sounds on the screen he must visualize and define the style and structure of the film, then act as both a storyteller and team leader to bring this vision to reality. Whedon’s main duties include casting, script editing, shot compostition, shot selection and editing (“Creative skill set”, 2013). This new movie is very intresting because don`t show us the story of spiderman, the movie begans when spiderman meets the avengers in civil war and the stroy of the movie starts in there. I liked a lot this film because I saw a real spiderman, a teenager hero of a highschool with jokes of a teenager but the courage of an adult hero.…
“10 out of 10” says everyone! If not it is because they must be green with envy at the magnum opus that was synthesised by Louis Leterrier himself! But still no contest to the first film. “Unleash the fury” was the tagline for the intellectual production, which is “The Incredible Hulk” we can certainly say the viewers were filled with fury when the film came to an abrupt and odd ending when the wrecked city faded away with no questions answered. The film was far from incredible, I would say……… unconceivable and that alone wouldn’t put a smile on my face.…

All media that lives within a specific genre of film can be classified as such by the similar elements that compose each work. Some say this makes Hollywood clichéd and typical, but a formulaic approach can be conducive to developing a movie that will interest a larger demographic. The “superhero film” is a category of video that utilizes this course of action. More specifically, Marvel’s movies (which are all based on comics) have had much success with this technique, their greatest accomplishment being The Avengers. Just start with a predetermined set of narrative, character, and cinematic elements. Then, throw in humanity and some of your own details: You now have a superhero movie.…
Dr. Seuss once questioned, “why fit in when you were born to stand out?” One group of fictional people who specifically “stand out” are Marvel superheroes. These men, women, and aliens push social norms in appearances and abilities. However, within the Marvel universe differences remain. In the two fictional organizations of the Avengers and the X-Men, history remains the defining factor while the ultimate goals, conflict, size, and strength in the programs express similarity.…
After weeks of testing and what not, Rogers emerges with the perfect human body. He is given a uniform with the colors red, white and blue to symbolize the American flag. Rogers is also given a shield and the name Captain America. His mission is to target the Red Skull, which is the Nazi's and Axis power's in Europe and to protect his country (Marvel). The Red Skull, is the Captain America's only enemy from World War II. James "Bucky" Barnes soon becomes his sidekick and they head off to go and protect the world from all the evil people. He serves as a symbol of freedom and American pride during this hard time. After the war is over, Captain America falls into the Artic Ocean and is temporarily frozen there, until decades later he is saved by the new crime fighting group called the Avengers (Wikipedia). He becomes a very important crime fighter in this group, and saves the world yet again from many bad things. Eventually Captain America sees what the war between him and other superheroes is doing to the…
