CURRENT SITUATION:
Bryce resides in a two-bedroom apartment in the Bronx with his mother. He has his own bedroom. His medical history is unremarkable except for eczema which is treated with coconut oil with good results. He requires supervision for activities of daily living. He has unique needs endogenous to his disability in the areas of reading, writing, organization, memory, problem solving, attention, behavior and motor skills which affects his ability to process and retain information comparable to that of his peers in the general education setting. He can transition from one school location to another but in rare occasions may attempt to elope and want staff to chase after him. Individualized visual schedule, timer, verbal prompts and physical prompts from behind are required. Bryce gravitate towards toys that give him a sensory input such as a clapper, beans sensory bin, a sensory toy (dinosaur) and scratches. He requires a Token Economy, Individualized Token Board and Functional Communication Training and benefits from adult attention, verbal praise, and access to a preferred reinforce during academic periods to be successful in school.
