Samuel Jordan Research Paper

On the 16 day of February in 1999, I was given the name Samuel Lloyd Jordan. This was a name my parents felt that one day would change the world or even see it in huge lights. A name that would live on even when i die for all the great thing I would eventually achieve. Although, they also knew that not one can raise a child, but a village. This is what they knew had to be done to raise me. In this i found a man by the name of Vincent Jones. He is about 5’10, Grey hair, nice smile, and well dressed man. He is an accountant at J.P. Morgan Bank in Rochester, NY where he lives as well. I gave him a nickname of “pops” because he truly stepped in for the place of my father. He has 3 other children Vincent Jr., Kandace, and Chris. He shares
his love maulty with his lovely wife Noreen. At the age of 5, I lost my father, something that would’ve had a great impact if i had it.
Although throughout life, I came across great men that was and did mentor me in life. This began to fill the whole of having my father in my life. Another choose my parents made was to keep my brother and I involved in church. That's where I found this great man. One day we were at church and I seen Chris. After the service was over, my brother , my friend and I all went up to hima and made friends. This farther lead to meeting his parents. The more was hung out with Chris i developed a relationship with his parents as well, but in particular, Vincent. This grew into the relationship with have today as father and
son.

During the beginning of our relationship we got to know each other.
He told me where he works his degrees, what he likes to go and so on and so forth. Although through this he made sure i knew that education was very important. Pops explain that everything i do now is going to affect my future. Vincent shared with me story about his past. He told me that when he had his first child, he didn't have an education and going to back to school was a risk. Although it was a risk, it was one that had to be done because it would only improve his life for the better. He taught me that staying focused and taking care of your responsibility was a very important job. As a man, there is things taught need to be done, salt after , and handled. No matter what's going on you have to do these things to live for day to day. He taught me that sometimes it’s going to get a little rough, but you have to keep your head high above the water to stay afloat. The reason that we are put on this earth is to to look after each other and do what we are called to do. You have to do things you love, be with people you live, and don’t let people influence you to be something you're not. Live wise and whatever you do, do it with
excellence. Most of all, he's always there when i need him. Morning, day or night he’s always there. He might not always answer because he's a busy man but he’ll call back. That's why I look up to him and give him the most up horner possible.
