San Jose Research Paper
San Jose is a well-connected city that covers a geographical area of about 180 miles that connects San Francisco and beyond. It has a wide range of convenient transportation options; taxis, busses, train and motorcycles that makes it easily accessible from numerous major freeways around the city. Downtown is very safe and secure just like any other parts of the city.
For the first time visitors who would like to explore San Jose and its surrounding environs, I highly recommend renting a car for transportation. Nonetheless, the city is highly serviced by light rail and Cal train.
You can drive south on the beach if swimming is your thing as you pass through Los Gatos town with its quaint restaurants and shops. If you like running trails or hiking

Using groups of palm-thatches, they quickly built their village. The central plaza was where ceremonies, business dealings, and ballgames were held. The largest building was the council house that could hold up to 3,000 people. The council house was where the chiefs held their…

Every night either my mom or my dad would lay down next to me, gently rubbing my back or tracing my face, and sing me a very specific song as I would fall asleep. It is one of those songs that when one hears it in a crowded place one has to stop what they are doing and reminisce. It is a song that, if asked, one could sing completely through and not miss a beat. It is a song that when one grows old and is asked by their children or grandchildren or great-grandchildren their fondest memory of their youth, the answer is always that.…

For this project, I have chosen to observe and understand the social behaviors of people who ride on Caltrain. Caltrain is a commuter rail service that provides transportation from San Francisco to Gilroy. With a total of 32 stations, some available at specific times for specific trains, people living in the Peninsula have the ability to travel up and down the Bay Area. As a Caltrain user myself, I travel from San Mateo (Hayward Park Station) to San Jose (Diridon Station) and back for school. Because of an increase in traffic and the fuel consumption of my vehicle, I believe that Caltrain is better in terms of saving money. A ride on Caltrain is around $12 right now, and for me, it takes an hour to get to San Jose from San Mateo. Driving…

My topic is Drug Trafficking in the United States. The reason I chose this topic is because every time I watch the news there seems to be something related to drug trafficking. In doing my research I found that a lot of drugs come into the U.S. from many different places, and by so many different ways that you would not imagine. I always thought drug trafficking had to do with the transport of drugs from state to state, but in doing my research I soon found that it goes way deeper than that. So in doing this research I plan and hope to be more educated on this topic.…

College athletics in the United States refers primarily to sports and athletic competition organized and funded by institutions of tertiary education (universities, or colleges in American English). In the United States, college athletics is a two-tiered system.[1] The first tier includes the sports that are sanctioned by one of the collegiate sport governing bodies. The major sanctioning organizations include the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Individual sports not governed by umbrella organizations like the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA are governed by their own organizations, such as the National Collegiate Boxing Association and Intercollegiate Rowing Association. Additionally, the first tier is characterized by selective participation, since only the elite athletes in their sport are able to participate. The second tier includes all intramural and recreational sports clubs, which are available to a larger portion of the student body.…
