with the Presidential Medal of Freedom (Sandra Day O’Connor, 2009). Sandra also being a very stern person she gave up many things to be who she is today. Sandra Day O’Connor graduated from Stanford Law School in 1952 but had trouble finding work as a lawyer because, at the time, firms would hire only men (Beard, 2013). Do you think it is fair for only men to have a say? Well untill Sandra Day O'Connor became Supreme Court Justice, Women had a scant say in what happened. So for a while most women had to follow what guys wanted.Women had no say in anything, Men could do whatever they wanted with them, which was sometimes bad. After elected she often was the deciding vote in court cases. She was a major influence on the court's decision.
