1. How would creating a new position between the CEO and the location managers help the business to grow? Delegating work to correct people offers many advantages. By creating a new position between the CEO and the location managers it would allow Dalman to devote his time to the planning of growing his business. It would also allow the location managers to concentrate on their tasks at hand and yet still have a higher management to go to for questions or help if need be. This would help everyone to feel a little less stressed and more efficient work will be able to be completed. 2. Is promoting an existing manager the best option to fill this position? If not, what is an alternative source to fill the position? I believe that promoting a manager from within the company would be a great way to fill the position. If the position is filled from within that manager will already know the ins and outs of the company, the problems that are at hand and the way things are run and handled. If Dalman and Lei are able to train the person that knows how to run the front lines with the way that they are able to handle the upper level they would be able to handle anything that is thrown at them whether it be from the operational level or the upper level. 3. Who within the company should make these decisions? Dalman and Lei are both owners of the company so I think that the decisions should be decided by both. Or should they choose they could delegate the different sections of the company to each of them and then the decisions could be split between the two. 4.
