While technology has made our lives easier, it’s arguable that it has not made our lives better. Technology has also caused negative effects such as cyber bullying, driving while texting, how we interact with those around us, and the increase of pollution to our environment. If technology was making our lives better then we would not have all these problems that technology has caused. I believe if we keep letting technology destroy us and the things around us then it will not have made our lives better, but worse instead.
Technology not only has affected us but also the environment we live in. The National Safety Council estimates that 1.6 million traffic crashes are caused by using your cell phone while driving. Texting has also affects a students ability to learn. Most teachers agree that having a cell phone in class creates a distraction for students, preventing them from learning the curriculum that the teacher is currently trying to teach them.
