Every fall thousands and thousands of young adults head off to college to gain the skills they will need later in life. How do these young adults gain these skills? By copying peoples' answers, stealing tests, and all this texting in we do in high school i guess that just helps us read and spell, but then again does it is because the saying "i don't know" is now spelled "IDK". This is definitely how their parents want their hard-earned money to be spent. Why do we go to college anyway? It's not like we actually learn anything. We go so that one-day when we get interviewed for a job we sound like we actually know what we are talking about. But those four years and thousands of dollars, have they actually taught us anything. No, not really. Sure you can probably write a decent paper, but did you really learn what you needed to so you can succeed in life. College is a time to be adventurous and explore. So who has time to actually do their homework and study for exams? No one. We want to have the full college experience, including the parties, drunken nights, and the romances. We don't have our parents or our teachers around to tell us what to do and when to do it. So why should we study, when we can wait until the last minute and get the answers from someone who already did the work.i guess we just need college for are basic skills, but without school and education we wouldn't know how to read or spell, are parents wouldn't, are teachers, friends, or anyone in the world for that matter. it would be an antisocial world what would we do without texting? would the world end? would mankind end? would the world freeze over? well pay attention and find…

Network is a dark lampoon focusing on making fun of big television corporations. In the 1970s television was such a booming market that everybody tuned into watch. Network was expressing the fact that nobody had fact in what they were watching. it shows that we watch television and are being fed what you know without doing any personal research. It ranges from cell phones and computers to more advanced technology. The Net has made it harder for people to remember. It has caused shorter attention spans and memory loss for people who use it way too much. It has also changed the way that people interact with others. The video “The Girl Code” from the Simpsons, pokes fun at the world's dependence on technology. In the episode Homer talks about the internet and all its crazy words, then he says “Siri, tell Amazon to drone me a beer”. Some more examples of satire in it are, the NSA bug in the iPad that took a picture of them and crawled off, and Homer saying “The plant isn't gonna inspect itself” and then a machine turning on and self inspecting the plant. Most of these examples of satire are based around technology and what it does to the modern world. Technology is doing all this stuff for us and it has become so programable that we don't need some people's jobs anymore, like a vacuum drone for your house so you don't have to give all the effort of moving…

Thirdly, with cell phones alone kids are able to get a hold of their parents or the authorities very quickly. In case of emergency kids can now talk to someone they need without being at home or a public place. I have had my own experience where I was out of the city limits and was in a jeep accident. Some friends and I needed to get some help and were able to call our parents for help. We told them what happened and where and they were able to come help us. Without the technology of today, our parents would not have been able to get help so…

Going through my very early years as a student I was not presented with a lot of the technology that there is now in our society. The smartphone was not popular until into my middle school years, but before that we did not have them. People would pass notes in class and have conversations with one another instead. If you look around nowadays however you see young kids, some of whom cannot even walk yet, being able to confidently use an iphone. I do not think that it is so much of a problem in middle and high school, but at such a young age, kids need to be taught the important aspects of personal contact with others and learn to develop connections with other classmates.…
