In the short story, ‘Satni-Khamose And The Afterworld the writer is trying to say that being a good man is more important than being a rich man. Satni lived with his father in a house in Thebes. One day, Satni and his father saw two funerals. One was a rich man who had with many mourners and the other was a poor man who had nobody following him. Satni’s father believed that his funeral will be like that of rich man. Satni took his father and went to Abydos. Rich man was stuck on the gate, however, poor man was standing near by Osiris.
