This is what is happening to a small Island, a Country in the Pacific Island, called Niue. I have decided to make efforts to assist this country with the help of five friends to rebuild and replenish people to this community by way of advertising. We will spend two weeks communicating with local authorities and businesses to come up with a plan and layout for our advertising strategies to reach out to past Niueans giving reasons to come back home, encourage others to stay, and bring more tourists to enjoy this beautiful country. Niue once had over 5000 people in the 1960’s (The Guardian, 2014), but now has a population of 1,618 with a 3% decrease in population every year (The World Factbook, 2018). This place has a jail, but no one resides there besides the occasional over drinker who gets a little rowdy or drives after drinking. Crime in Niue is nearly nonexistent (Costelloe, 2017). This specific idea is always something to consider when travelling to another country and would be a winner for tourists not having to worry about crime or being attacked. Being safe is ideal and will be within our advertising. It is always a great idea before travelling to another country to be sure you are updated on immunizations and to be inoculated.
