I’m a also huge fan of the Eisenhower Matrix, it makes it easy for me to visualize and sort things into sections in my brain and program myself. For example: I need to do this task now because it’s urgent and important. I don’t need to watch TV because that task is unimportant and not urgent. The perfectionist in me will not settle for less. Additionally, I like to speak the truth, literally and figuratively in my art. Addressing societal norms and questioning their existence is one of my favorite things to do. I’m also observant and look for the subtle changes, especially the textures and the feelings, for those are what create character. Character is composed of nuances. Details are what create art. That’s what I see. In the ninth grade, I was a contest manic and applied to every one I found. Somehow, this girl with barely a year of photoshop managed to win DeviantArt’s International 12th Birthday Contest. Additionally, during my free time, I designed posters for Southold’s Drama Club, presentations for the annual Europe trip, and flyers for school clubs, such as the SADD, the Environmental Club and the Southold Chapter of the National Honor Society.
